McHARDY excitement

Details decidedly sketchy as yet, but our sole FTDNA yDNA McADIE project representative has just received an excellent yDNA match - only 1 marker different over 67 tested - surname McHARDY.

Checking around our data it was rather belatedly noticed that our WorldFamilies Summary results page wasn't actually showing any markers at all.
Remedied at least in part for one of the two known tested McADIEs meant to be showing there, and the FTDNA result grid has now been embedded there for up to the minute results.

Watch this space!

7th: Check it out

Well we seem to be up and running, with all pages at least now accessible. Should you find any missing links, please let me know.

Check out the "Front Door" for the McADIE Surname DNA Project. There's not much behind it as yet, but given time and interest from other McADIE researchers and hopefully a participant or two, it will grow.

If you wish to be listed as a M(a)cADIE, or other variant, researcher, again, send an email (contact details on the footer of the web pages under Compiler) and you can be added to the Researcher index. Email addresses are encrypted.

Pedigrees, biased towards male lines for dna participants, are also welcome. Outline pedigrees will be posted on the Project Summary Patriarchs pages held on the World Families Network site, (rather bereft as yet, haven't had too much time to tweak the standard pages).

6th: Welcome

Welcome to the Project Diary for the newly created McADIE Surname DNA Project.

Summary information (dna result grid, and outline pedigrees) will be available on the WorldFamilies Network pages.

Supplementary information, including links to assorted McADIE (and variants) surname related pages will be available on the DNA Projects Portal.

All McADIE (and variant) surnamed males are most welcome to join in the fun of seeing where dna can take our genealogy.
